Gasthaus Diepold in Batzhausen

We are often in the area by bike and actually stop for a drink in the beer garden on every tour. We are currently getting something to eat more often. It is and remains the culinary benchmark in the area.

Have this afternoon in the cozy garden sat and drank a Radlerhalbe. My husband also had a liver dumpling soup and a portion of holiday roast. The liver dumplings were homemade, the roast plentiful and good and the salad 🥗 homemade and not from the glass (also the carrot salad 🥕). The guest room and the toilets we did not see during this visit - we get another time. Parking available. Service friendly and fast.

For 15 years I have been visiting from Kiel in the Upper Palatinate for 8-10 days, Gasthaus Diephold is always on my agenda, I have never been disappointed. Everything is just right there: great price-performance ratio, very good regional cuisine, fresh and tasty, cozy atmosphere. Insider tip to recommend!

After 40 minutes, the food was still not there. The waitress asked if we had ordered. She wanted to ask. Don't comb again. I asked for another 5 minutes myself. And the answer: "It takes another 10 minutes." We canceled the order and paid for the drinks. But there wasn't even an excuse. And then wonder if there is no tip! Hello?? I will continue to give away my voucher.

Had a birthday party the food duck breast was very tasty (pink). Had not had such a good duck in a long time. My wife had ox cheeks, was also very tasty. Will come here to eat more often now.

Great economy with good service and great food

Super good home-style cuisine at very fair prices. Clear map, but all freshly cooked. Who comes late, no longer receives any food. A good sign for the good food. Reservation is recommended.
